Introduction

I am writing this to introduce this new blog. In subsequent posts I will try to note some of the things I hope to accomplish on this blog, but for now, I only wish to announce its existence. I have been playing with blogs for a year or so, but this blog is meant to be taken more seriously. I know the proof is in the pudding.
